Nothing you’ve picked needs a subscription. Stay on Free for as long as you like — Plus is there if that ever changes.
These need Plus:
- More than one block. Free gives you one; Plus up to 20.
- More than three routines and reminders. Free counts three in total; Plus is unlimited.
- Location blocks. Blocks when you get to a place, or when you leave one.
- Daily app limits. Blocks once your chosen apps pass the cap you set.
- Auto-start routines. No tap and no notification — already running when you sit down.
- Holiday Mode. Freeze your streak for a date range, and choose what keeps running.
Everything else is free either way.

Stop paying and nothing is deleted. Your extras pause, and everything comes back when you resubscribe.
Anything past the free limits — a second block, a fourth routine — stops enforcing and stops nudging. It stays on your phone either way. We’d rather lose the leverage than hold your setup hostage.
Cancelling is in your Apple Account, not in Motiv, and Plus stays active until the period you’ve paid for ends.
